Christmas Crib Service

Sorry for the last minute notice but we are now able to confirm that on Monday 14th of December we have a wonderful opportunity to go to St Peter’s Church, Cleethorpes for a Christmas Crib Service. The children will be taken by coach in two groups. Year 3 and 4 at 1.15pm and Year 5 and 6 at 2.00pm.

Unfortunately, due to space restrictions within the church we are unable to invite parents this year.

Revised Homework Arrangements

Re: Homework Policy

I would like to thank everyone who participated in the homework survey.  We received nearly a hundred responses across the year groups.  We have also asked very similar questions of the children.  The results have been useful in contributing to staff discussion on how to adapt the current homework arrangements.

A revised policy is now being drawn up, with the aim to have the new arrangements in place for the start of the new term in January.  The new arrangements will allow children to consolidate key skills and apply a range of skills and knowledge from across the curriculum.
