A great evening. Walking, pitching tents, playing games, campfire….
During the week commencing 3rd October, we will be celebrating Harvest Festival within school.
This year we will be asking the children to think of others who are perhaps less fortunate than us. This year we would like to help the Daily Bread Food Larder (CARE) who hand out emergency food parcels to local people experiencing difficulties in finding money to purchase food.
We would be most grateful if you could support us in collecting tinned and dried foods and toiletries. There will be a central collection point in the school reception area from Monday 3rd October until 9am on Friday 7th October.
Let me take this opportunity to say “Thank you” in anticipation of your response in helping others within our community.
For more information about the charity contact: www.carelincs.co.uk.
Please find a link to the Parents Evening booking form, please fill this form in and send into your child’s class teacher.
To promote children’s interest in reading, next term each class will visit Cleethorpes Library where they will be provided with an introductory talk about the library. Following this they will be able to have a look around and select a book to take home.
If your child is not currently a member of Cleethorpes Library, and you are happy for them to join, please complete the form attached to the reverse of this letter and return it to your child’s class teacher by Friday 7th October. If your child is not a member of Cleethorpes Library, and the form is not returned, then they will not be able to choose a book to take home from the visit.
After 3 weeks, borrowed books must be returned or renewed. This is parents’ responsibility.
