This is a 60-minute session for parents and guardians, looking into e-safety issues and risks to children whilst using digital technology. This is also an opportunity for parents to ask for advice and guidance about any related issues.
Christmas Fair – 9.12.16
The Christmas Fair will take place on Friday 9th December between 2.45pm and 3.45pm. As in previous years, stalls will be replicated in both the Infants and Juniors. Junior children will be allowed to attend the junior fair unsupervised from 2.45pm to 3.15pm, when they will be dismissed. If you wish to meet your child, please arrange a place with them as they will not be in their classroom when the doors open. As it always is, the fair will be extremely busy. Any donations for the Chocolate Tombola will be gratefully received and ‘Lucky Bags’ will be available for the children to create nearer the time.
Christmas Dinner & Christmas Jumper Day – 12.12.16
On Monday 12th December we will be having our Christmas dinner. A slip will be sent out soon for those children who do not normally have a school meal, but would like to have one on that day. We will also use that day as our ‘Christmas Jumper Day’ to really get us in the Christmas spirit. A donation will be made to the Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day appeal from the Christmas Fair proceeds.

We will be visiting the cinema on the morning of the last day of term. More details, with permission slips, will be sent when we know which films are available to us.
End of Term – 16.12.16
As we have done previously, we are offering parents the option to collect their children (or them making their own way home) at 2.30pm on the Friday that we break up. A letter will be issued nearer the time. As has happened previously, whilst some families have taken advantage of this opportunity, other children have stayed to the end of the school day, completing festive activities and playing games.
If you require any further information about any of the above, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
